	Patti has joined the Academy of Music instructors after recently retiring from a long career in the field of Recreation. Patti has a degree in Education and years of program planning, facilitation, coaching and teaching experience with children and adults of all ages.

	B.Ed., University of Victoria. Joanne Hansen studied piano in Victoria where she completed her A.R.C.T. in Piano Performance. For many years she taught elementary school music in Powell River but has recently retired.

	Co-director of the qathet Accordion Fest, didgeridoo performer with various bands. Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra, 20+ years of piano performance.

	Savanna is a versatile performer and educator with a Royal Conservatory of Music background in voice, a certified yoga teacher, and trauma-informed through Somatic Experiencing; dedicated to empowering students by liberating their singing voice and fostering self-expression through songwriting.

	Paloma is an award winning actor with 12+ years of professional film/tv experience. She’s worked as the lead in several feature films, short films, and has appeared in recurring and guest star roles in over a dozen television programs.
